FitBit not connecting - tracker not detected

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I don't understand why my Fitbit Versa 2 won't reconnect with my Desktop. I've never had this issue before but it's just starting now. Apparently the tracker is not detected by my computer. My computer has no problems connecting to other Bluetooth devices. And I understand that I should turn off my phone's Bluetooth when trying to connect with my computer, but that still hasn't helped.

What more can I do? Please help me troubleshoot!

Hi @theslykai  the Fitbit uses bluetooth to connect to the servers to upload your data. It's not the same as connecting other bluetooth devices. You actually pair your email account to the device, not the computer. Some of the older computers don't work well with the newer Fitbit devices and you can't set up on Windows 10. What computer system do you have and do you have a compatible mobile device?

Hi Odyssey,

Actually I have MS Windows 10 Pro and it's been working for about half a year now so far. Today is the first day it stopped working.

Update: I tried resetting the watch to factory settings and then also resetting my computer to reconnect the watch via Fitbit. I have connected the watch but now all I see is the white Fitbit logo and I can't control anything on the watch at all. No swiping or apps or anything else. This is a fiasco...

I would connect my phone, but it turns out that this model is incompatible with my phone type and I really don't have the money to go out and buy another phone so I've been using the desktop app.

So I've been doing a series of restarts and all it does it keep taking me back to the start up screen with nothing but a white Fitbit logo. I think it became defective somehow. At this point, I want to send it in for the warranty, I think.
