Fitbit App Pairing Limited

I just purchased a Versa 3. When I paired it using the Fitbit app, my Charge 3 disappeared. Why did this happen? I have a Charge 2 also and it still appears in the app.

Any ideas?

Hello @J_C_Hogg_2008 and welcome to the Community.  Fitbit made a significant programming change about the time your Charge 3 was released.  The apps and clock faces are in the Gallery.  You can only have one device with a Gallery on your account at a time.  The Versa 3 and Charge 3 both have the Gallery.  The Charge 2 doesn’t.

What is a "Gallery" and what does it do for me?

I want to use both of my devices. If this is a limitation imposed by Fitbit, it sucks for me and other customers. Fitbit does a disservice to its customers by not warning us in advance about this limitation.

If I had known this prior to my purchase, it would have been a non-starter since using all my devices was my plan from the beginning.

Anybody want a slightly-used Versa 3?
