Did you mean:

Get notifications only for calls

Hi,

in night I'd like to be able to receive notifications only for incoming calls, obviously during the day I like to receive notifications from messaging apps, thereby I cannot find a comfortable solution:

- if I enable sleep mode I won't receive any notification

- if I enable do not disturb on the phone (Samsung S21+) and I block all notifications except calls I still get notifications from messaging apps on the Fitbit

- disabling notifications from Fitbit app is not a solution because it requires several steps such as unflag every app

Do you think there is another option I miss?

Thank you

Hi @Hurray4799 - your do not disturb solution on the phone should work, check the settings again.

Alternatively in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, device photo, Notifications and then for each of

  • Text messages
  • Calendar Events
  • Emails

click on them and turn them off at night and remember to turn them on again in the morning.

For App notifications you may need to remover specific ones and reenable them the next day.

Also on the same screen there is a 3 dots option at the top which contains disable notifications, but that may also disable calls and I recall it messes up the App notifications and you may have to select the ones you want again.

Hi @Guy_ , thank you for your answer, the "do not disturb" solution it's not working, I've just tried it again, do you recommend any specific configuration?

The other two solutions do not suit my necessities as the requires too much steps to be made every night and every morning.

@Hurray4799 - agree it's not a very good solution to turn them off individually and not remember to turn them on again.

Maybe Macrodroid would be a workaround.  It's a simple but very powerful tool. Comes free for 5 macros but you may only need 2.

You could intercept all phone notifications and choose when to show messages [with a simple toggle on/off macro] and still allow calls.

Thank you @Guy_, thank you for the hint but I'm more a tasker guy, so I'll try a solution with that.
