Fitbit Mileage Accuracy

Hello,

I am looking for someone who can tell me how to fix this problem OR if I need a new watch.  I ran with three different people with three different watches.  The watches were the Versa Lite, the Blaze, and the Zip.  We all ran the same distance/route, however, the mileage was completely different.  Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Thank you.

I didn't say, or imply, that's a problem.  Just that there are different ways of calculating distance.

Without GPS, distance is simply number of steps times stride length.

Stride length may need adjusting.

and Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?

Versa 2 uses completely different methods of getting distance depending on whether or not you are using connected-GPS to your phone's GPS.

So it is impossible to answer without that information.

I am not connected to my phone’s GPS, so is that a problem?
