Fitbit Vera’s Facebook

I am unable to connect to my Facebook which I would like to try challenges with friends . I also can’t add any of my contacts to my Fitbit community

I'm confused as to your questions.

Challenges are on the Fitbit app. If you open up the app you should see challenges at the bottom. Tap that and you will see what challenges are available to you. They have nothing to do with Facebook

As for contacts they need to have a Fitbit and an Email listed with them to add to Fitbit Friends.

If this does not help please be more specific on your questions so we can help better

I think you are talking about connecting with friends on Fitbit, but using Facebook as the method? You will need to do the following. 

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account cars (top right corner) > your name.
2. Tap Add Friends. 
3. Select Facebook.
4. Tap the pink button Connect Facebook.

Sorry for being unclear. My goal was to start challenges with people on my Facebook or contacts.i previously was able to do this however I got a new phone and upon downloading the Fitbit app, I was no longer able to search my contacts for friends I used to challenge who I know still have Fitbit. As for Facebook when I attempt to connect to Facebook from the Fitbit app to connect with people, the “connect” button will not allow me to press it.

Yes that is what I ment. Sorry for being unclear. Once I get to the point of connecting my Facebook, the “connect” button will not allow me to press it. As for connecting with my contacts , I am not given an option to search my contacts of people I know have Fitbit’s and accounts I previously challenged

I would recommend uninstalling the fitbit app from your phone and then install it again, see if that fixes it.
