Ok I'm very confused so if someone can answer this question I would appreciate. I'm connected to spotify Premium account on my watch with my phone nearby no problems. This is my question that i can't seem to find anywhere. I want to play my spotify playlists on my watch when I'm going for a run, without my phone. If my spotify playlist is "downloaded" on my phone, why can't I access that downloaded playlist on my watch without being connected to my phone.  How do I get that downloaded playlist onto my watch.

Yeah, unless you have the actual files to transfer them to the watch, unfortunately not.

Unfortunately the Versa doesn't support that feature, since it uses Connected GPS (it connects to the phone to use the phone's GPS) and not GPS.

So basically the only music I can put on my watch is purchased music, like everything in my iTunes account?

Yeah, if you want to run without your phone and listen to music, you'll have to transfer your music to the watch.

And I can't transfer spotify songs to my watch? Even with a premium account? That stinks.

Might offline support be in the future?

Seems a bit useless if, for example, I am on a treadmill listening to a Spotify playlist but still need my phone with me and all I can do with the Versa is control. I can do that by clicking the forward and back buttons on my wireless earbuds ...

Would be great to be able to 'download' a playlist to Spotify on the watch to listen offline and leave the phone in the locker. Otherwise, the Versa, in terms of listening to Spotify, is just an unnecessary piece of equipment between the phone and the earbuds.

Hopefully, Fitbit introduces offline listening for Spotify. Otherwise, I don't see the value in having on the watch Spotify or any other music streaming service that you can't listen to offline.

The more I look the more the Versa 2 is just hyped with closed end apps
