I bought a Fitbit versa 2 and a year and half later it stopped working. Out of nowhere the screen was stuck on the logo and then stopped working all together. The customer service was not helpful at all. They were going to give me a small discount off and a free band. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer for a long time now. I have had multiple watches. The last two have just stopped working. They are not great products, did not even work for two years. Not happy with my experience.

Hi @Hilary.laking everyone has a different experience with these devices. Some people use them for years and others, like yourself, might not make it two years. If case you haven't seen it - warranty information.

Is this meant to be a helpful answer? Less than two years of use is far from acceptable. These watches are not cheap.
I received my most recent (3rd) Fitbit as a gift. I would not have chosen this brand again myself as the previous watch stopped working at 2.5 years. Sure enough, my current watch is buggy, and difficult to use. The need to constantly refresh the app, reset the Bluetooth connection and reset the watch seems to be the norm, not the exception.
Your answer does nothing to address the problem, which further shows Fitbit's irreverence for its customers or the quality of their products.

Hi @gmca224 these are the community forums and I am not a Fitbit employee. When people come here and a member of the forums is able to respond to their post, they do. My answer couldn't address the problem, as the original poster had already been in touch with Fitbit and was given a discount and band offer.

My problem is my steps are off. One day they read correct - over 10,000. The next week or so 12 hours are erased from the app and it reads less than 10,000; thus messes up my averages. I contacted support each time. I logged out of the app. I re-loaded the app. I factory reset my Versa 2 (pain) all with no luck. This happened three times in July. I believe this all happened after the Google switch. Do you think it’s the age of my Fitbit? It’s approximately three years old.
