Fitbit Versa 2 issues syncing, location, alexa, lost steps

Ugh, just got a Versa 2 to replace my inspire., So many issues. Restarted and re-synced many times

 

1. Alexa keeps saying it has lost connection even when the bluetooth is syncing and working. Also says location is not on...but it is. 

 

2. Often when I try to to sync it wont, then it does the second time I try. 

 

3. Cannot install "find my phone" app

 

4. Yesterday I went for a for a long walk for an hour and 10 minutes, immediately after the walk I checked my device and it showed that I had over 13,000 steps, and 100 active minutes, for the day. I added the walk to my exercise as it had not tracked, looked at my watch again a few hours later, it said I’ve got under 10,000 steps, and 32 active minutes. I removed the exercise...didn't help. It is like everything I did (which was a 70 minute walk) in the time period from 7:50-9pm disappeared. 

 

I am so frustrated. Anybody have these issues and find some fixes. My mobile device is an iphone xs
