Fitbit Versa 2 not getting Gmail notification

Hello,

All the sudden my versa 2 stop getting notification on gmail. Everything else works fine, I can get notifications on phones, text msg, google calendars and any other apps I selected. The Gmail notification did work fine in the beginning for a few days and then all the sudden it stopped working. 

I have been searching on this web and found multiple discussions on this issue, but no solution has been found that can fix my problem.

I love my versa 2 but it has been really annoying not being able to get the gmail notification, any help is highly appreciated!

Same here. Everything works great, except for gmail even though it is set to notify me.

Hi @ratcityrain and @JKZ8.

I would recommend uninstalling the Fitbit app on your phone and then reinstalling it again. You will have to go back into Your account (tap profile picture) - Versa 2 - Notifications to set them up again. This seemed to have fixed the issue for me, so it's worth giving a try.

If you uninstall the Fitbit App do you have to resync your watch to it again? or will all that be there because i have an account?

I have a Samsung 10 and was working fine with gmail until Friday.

(i just had to change my text messenger app because that stopped working too)

My Versa 2 is not working with my Samsung S9 and gmail.  Everything else is working great.  This was working until last week.  I have factory reset, uninstalled the app, turned off my phone and reset it - any other ideas?

I uninstalled an reinstalled the Fitbit app on my phone and now I don't get any notifications from anything even though I set it up the same as before.

I just got a new Versa 2. I have all notifications working except Gmail. I did the same as all with uninstalling the app and setting it up again. Still doesn't work. I am on a Google Pixel 2XL.

I did that and nothing still not getting notifications from gmail  anything else that I can do ?

My Fix for Gmail

Profile>Versa2>Notifications> on email DISABLE then go to app notifications and Check Mark on GMAIL and it worked for me. I hope it works for you
