My Fitbit versa 2 will not allow me to swipe on the screen. I have only had the watch for two months! It performs functions on its own, will not allow me to click on any apps/features, and moves back and forth very rapidly between several displays.
I try to shut it down, but cannot access the settings “button” due to the screen rapidly shaking back and forth.
I am unable to set or turn off an alarm. The watch scrolls through the alarm settings, times, days of the alarm, etc. all on its own.
Basically I am unable to use my watch touch screen. Not very helpful!
I have stopped the rapid screen motion by holding down the Side button, and allowing the screen to go black. It does restart on its own, but whenever I try to go into the settings, it performs the same malfunctions. I am unable to turn off my Fitbit, due to the fact that I cannot get to the settings ”button.”
I use my Fitbit daily, and at this point the watch and it’s usually wonderful features are useless to me. Any help is appreciated.

@rweav, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the display is glitching and changing screens on its own. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps mentioned above before contacting our forums.
Please have the battery of your watch to drain completely. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

I let my battery drain completely, changed the clock face to one from the Fitbit selections, and the problem is still occurring.
I am unable to use the watch for anything other than viewing the time.

My Versa said the same thing today and wouldn't connect with my phone. Then, I had the Fitbit sign on it and after I started typing this message, it miraculously returned...

Thank you for the assistance. Through Fitbit support I tried another work around, but it did not help. Fortunately Fitbit sent me a replacement watch. Got it up and running today! So far, no issues. Woohoo!

I was also having problems with my Fitbit. I noticed that the screen looked brown as opposed to its usual black. The battery is also draining unusually fast. I’ve only had it since January! I let the battery drain, and my wallpaper is created by Fitbit, and it was at 100% this morning, and I haven’t even used it, and it’s down to 87%.

I also noticed little waves in my screen almost like a glitch. I don’t know if that has anything to do with the color o fan my screen, but I could use some help figuring it out.

I have the same issue as this person has shared. I have an original Fitbit clock and have not connected any 3rd party apps aside from Spotify. I just bought this two, maybe three, months ago as well

I'm having the same issues. I'm very disappointed. This same thing happened to my previous versa. It was a total loss. I'll try to do these suggestions, but I'm not hopeful.

Hi JuanJo!
I am having the same problem with my versa 2 that I bought at the beginning of August 2020. It worked great up until a couple weeks ago. It freezes, it stops recording my heart rate, and the battery drains quickly. I changed the clock face and am still having this problem.
