Fitbit Versa 2 stopped recording weekly exercise

My Versa 2 has been working fine in the 16 months since I bought it but has suddenly stopped recording my weekly exercise. It is counting steps and active minutes but it is not monitoring actual activities showing how these have been achieved. I have restarted it to no effect. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thank you for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2.

 

In addition to the restart, I would recommend setting up your watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1625521713479.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
