I have purchased a Fitbit Versa Lite and upon connecting the device to the app it says it needs a firmware update. it starts to do this and freezes up and prompts me to start over. I am unable to get any further on the fitbit screen than the logo and blue not even covering half of the logo. I have restarted the fitbit and my phone several times, turned on and off my Bluetooth. uninstalled and reinstalled the app and everything else I can think of. please help!!!!! I have read that to connect to wifi or turn off the fitbit u have to be into the normal screen but I cannot get there!

I have had the exact same problem and have being looking everywhere for an answer so hopefully someone will give us some information to sort this problem out. I love the versa lite but am very dishearted now....
