I got my Versa lite in the year 2020 and was using it until mid of 2022. Then it was not used frequently but i used to charge it.
Three days back I started using it again, synced the phone with my android device.
However after a day's use it started flashing a red light at the bottom and give tingles on my wrist. Later realised that it's heating up and that's why I am getting tingles. The red light stayed on for a long time until eventually i did a restart. After restart noticed that the battery has drained out.
Later tried to fetch the community and didn't get much help but tried to update the firmware for the watch and tried to toggle the heart rate. Wore it again while sleeping. Since I was asleep the same thing happened and i got burned.
How can this be fixed? this was never an issue before I am not sure what has changed.

Hi @ApurvaD - the watch is damaged if it overheats while wearing or charging, stop wearing it or charging it. The seals could have dried out and let water in causing the damage, but it needs replacing.
If you were happy with the Versa Lite [which is no longer in production] the closest model is the good Versa 2, your favorite clocks or apps will be available for it, and is probably available on offer. The more expensive watches can have all sorts of issues and can be missing features found on the Versa 2.
