Fitbit Versa Lite not charging

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For some reason, my versa lite will not charge. I’ve checked to see if there was dirt on the pins and they are clean. I’ve shut down and turned it back on, as well as plugged it into many different USB ports and different wall chargers. Nothing is working and I just got my Fitbit on Christmas. I checked my phone, and the software is up to date.

@SunsetRunner, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. Regarding the charging issues that your Versa Lite is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps that you mentioned above before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if you tried restarting your Versa Lite as described in this help article. After restarting your watch, charge it for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

I have tried everything but it won’t charge. I did contact customer service and they said to do a factory reset. I am in the middle of a reset, but then the Fitbit battery becomes too low to do a reset. I have tried many different outlets and even different computers but again, no charge.

I finally got my Fitbit working again (yay!) from the previous post...it was actually my charger that was faulty. I am updating my tracker now, and it is incredibly slow on my phone. It was slow to update on the Fitbit, but now the update is crawling on my phone...and I mean crawling. Snails in molasses are faster.

It's been updating since 10am and I am about 2/3rds of the way there on my phone. I have an iPhone 8 with the latest iOS. Is it because it hasn't updated in a long time that it is taking so long?

My little Fit is vibrating to find my phone and it's still updating. I have tried restarting my Fitbit, force closing the Fitbit app on my phone, and it's still slow.
