Why send two bands in different sizes?

I was planning on ordering a Versa 2. I like that with the Special Edition you have three months FitBit premium membership (especially as this is currently the same price as the normal Versa 2), however, I don't really like the strap that it comes with. I would probably prefer to just wear the normal band. I checked the order and it says it comes with two straps- one  woven and one plain: fantastic...or it would be if they actually fit. Why on earth are different sizes given? This'll be the fourth FitBit I've owned. I know what size I take, so why send out different sizes? Is there any way of swapping them? I don't want to order a plain band on top of ordering my Fitbit...any advice?

1)  Not everyone has owned multiple Fitbits to know which size to get.  I can vouch that trying to figure out which size band to order can be a very tough decision, especially when close between the two.  Also imagine trying to gift a Fitbit without measuring the giftee's wrist.  And what about giving someone your old Fitbit to someone of a different wrist size?

2) The extra size band is not a full band.  It is just one end of the band in a different length, so it's not like you could swap that for a different style band.

I'm surprised they would be the same price.  You might want to re-check that.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
