Fitbit Versa Resetting On Own

ANSWERED

Starting last week my Fitbit Versa began resetting on its own (especially annoying when the alarm was set to go off, so skipped it).  Anyone else having this problem?  When it's resetting, the screen goes black for a bit (no buttons work) and then the Fitbit logo comes up, and I'm locked out for a few minutes.

I had recently downloaded some new apps, so I tried removing those, but I am still having the problem.

Thanks,

Jake

@Jakedcfoodie Mine does that, too, but only in the middle of the night (every now and again in the exercise app, too), which is exceptionally frustrating, because the vibrating when it comes back up wakes me up. If you contact support, they're going to want you to do a factory reset, so you may as well do that. if that doesn't fix the problem, they're going to want to replace it. And then they're going to pretend to be very surprised when replacing it doesn't fix the problem, because it's a firmware problem, not a hardware problem.

Thanks.  I contacted Fitbit and, so far, the reset did the trick!  Hopefully, it lasts.
