My birthday is coming up and I was wanting to get a Fitbit versa. Have been since it came out. But looking on forums and amazon reviews it has 21% one star ratings. Is the Fitbit versa a bad product or is there a 50 50 chance you’ll get a good product. Also all the bad reviews come from people who purchased a versa in 2018. Has the versa had any updates to fix any bugs or glitches? Should I request a purchase?

I also forgot to mention, some people say the Fitbit versa is not waterproof or swim proof. Is this true? Will I be able to go swimming in a 12foot deep pool without harming the device?

I saw that and read the reviews which said the versa was a flawless watch. I have seen no reviews as of July 2019 to show if the versa has had any updates to fix glitches or mistakes like breaking after getting out of the pool or wearing out in a few weeks.

My main question is has the Fitbit versa had any software or firmware updates to get rid of the vertical lines review or the screen fading or the watch falling apart after just a few weeks. I want to go swimming with it but people say it completely stops working as soon as they got out of the water. I don’t have one yet and I don’t want to go to an Apple Watch and I have had a charge 2 and.a blaze which had little to no problems. They were just a little outdated and the versa looked stylish and was a fitness smart watch which isn’t really nice and I would really want to have
