Fitbit Versa battery draining

My Fitbit Versa is amazing. I haven’t had a single occurrence with my device . My battery last five an a half days . Battery is usually fully charged within one an a half hours. I deactivated the auto screen from displaying the features at a flick of a wrist, which saves battery. Once I’ve view the screen I push button to turn off screen not waiting the 10 seconds to self timer . I mostly view all settings an readings on my cell . To conserve Fitbit battery. Any way I can save battery life an still enjoy my Fitbit functionality. It’s amazing. I’m losing weight. My workouts are longer . Drinking more water. Also counting my calories. In the beginning I was worried thinking my heart beat was  fluctuating to high level. Fit beat cleared up all my doubts. My resting heart rate is 53 bpm ..... up to 140 bpm depending on my workout. I’m 60 years old . Let me say this’ll intention was to buy a Apple Watch. Once I say the price plus a monthly activation fee . Fitbit was the wise choice. Thanks Fitbit!
