Fitbit Versa - display not working, battery draining quickly

I have a Versa, purchased in 2019 that was working fine up until last Friday, 6/4/2021. At that time, the display would change on its own as if someone was swiping through the screens. After a couple of restarts, then powering off/on, it seemed to be working ok. "On Sunday, 6/6, everything was still fine and then I noticed the display would not come on, at all. The Versa had been fully charged on Saturday evening, 6/5. I checked the phone app and the Versa was alive and syncing with my phone, just no display. The versa was in the 90-92% battery range Sunday evening when I went to bed. When I go up this morning, 6/7, the battery was at 5%. I charged to 100% at around 10:00a CDT and as of this posting at 3:20p CDT, the Versa, according to the app is at 65%. Still no display after attempting several 2 and 3 button resets on the Versa. Is it toast or is there hope of getting it to come back? Prior to the display issue, the battery charge would still last 4-4.5 days.

Well, I think I know more about what is wrong with my Versa, the screen fell off today... Well, not completely, it is still being held by the ribbon cable. It still syncs to my phone and tracks my activity. I thought it would have lasted longer than it did.
