Bought a new Fitbit last week and to my surprise the watch does not charge. I even got an extra charger in case the one that came with the watch was faulty but nothing. The watch is faulty. Tried to get help for it but till now, I have received none from Fitbit. Anyone had the same experience with a new product?

Have you tried different USB power source such as a wall charger you would use to charge a phone?
Is it showing any signs of life at all?

Yes, I did. Used both a USB and direct power into the socket and no it doesn't show life.

I think that sounds like a dead fitbit that needs to be returned / exchanged.
If that's an issue with your retailer then customer support should be able to help via your warranty: contact.fitbit.com

Yeah looks like a faulty watch. Was really hoping that would not be the case cause I'm not in the US. Thanks though
