Fitbit Versa doesn’t read heart rate

My Fitbit versa won’t read my heart rate, it’s on in settings and on the app but the light on the sensor doesn’t work and it doesn’t ready my hr, I’ve done a hard reset and a factory reset and it still doesn’t work.

Same issue with my watch too. No green sensor light. I worked  on this watch whole day. Still it's not working. I did reset and reboot multiple time as per instructions from fitbit. Yet it's not working.
