Fitbit Versa doesn't track sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my Fitbit Versa last Monday and haven't received any sleep insights since switching my watch from a blaze.

Last night it managed to record 1hr 11mins but in my phone app, the time keeps disappearing and reappearing like there's a error.

I've done all the instructions online and please don't say ''record it manually" since I never know when I fall to sleep.

Have you checked that your HR Setting  is "on" and not "off " or "automatic"?

Still not working despite going through your customer service live chat, countless emails and this forum! Why don't you put an answer that works!

Here is what I have done to get the sleep tracking to work most of the time.  Set the clock face to Layers. I have no idea why this clock face works and others don't.  Turn off your quick view.  Wear the band snugly about two finger widths above your wristbone.   This ritual, plus a recent fitbit app update, seem to have done the trick.  I have had accurate, detailed sleep tracking for four days in a row.

Good luck.

I had the same problem when switching from my blaze to the versa.  Made lots of forum posts, but problem not resolved and some posts were deleted by a moderator.  I returned the versa, and am using my blaze, which works flawlessly.  If enough people return the versa, fitbit will be more motivated to fix the issues.

If the versa is fixed so that it works as well as the blaze and other fitbits, I would buy it again.

I've managed to get sleep stats for three nights now. I've done this by putting my Versa on my other wrist and facing it inwards, the insights late in depth at least but still annoying since I don't always remember to switch it over.
