I began to experience this problem yesterday. I restarted my versa and it seemed to solve the problem but then it couldn’t measure my sleep, saying I was 17 times restless which is not true. Throughout the day it was displaying unrealistic heart rate measures and tells me I have burnt twice as much calories than I do in a normal day. I’m in bed and my current heart rate is 142 according to the watch. I measured it manually and it is around 65, my normal resting heart rate. I tried restarting several times. Now I’m going for the factory reset but given the fact that it did not solve the same problem I’m not very hopeful. My device is still under guarantee until September. Do I contact the seller if it stays like that?

I hadn’t worn mine for like 2 weeks and put it back on yesterday for the first time. This morning I woke up and it said I barely slept and was restless 20 times. Then all day today it’s told me I’ve been in fat burning and cardio zone... apparently I’ve done over 6 hrs of cardio today just sitting at my desk working. Shows my heart rate at like 158 just sitting... I’m 26 112 lbs in shape... something is wrong for sure. Took my heart rate myself manually it’s 76. Tried resetting the app and no luck.

For those who may be experiencing the same issue: I contacted customer services via live chat. The guy was really helpful, checked if I had done all the possible troubleshooting options (e.g. rebooting, factory reset). After syncing he saw the high heart rate results in the last few days and told me that it must be hardware problem. Luckily my watch is still under warranty so I was offered a replacement, which has been arranged instantly and already on the way to me. I call this outstanding customer service. The watch was 1,5 years old and I had extended warranty from the retailer but it was accepted by Fitbit to be eligible for a replacement. This saved me the lengthy procedure of sending it back to them.
