How do I change the sensitivity? I will be driving and steps are added or even just changing a diaper.

A warm welcome to the Community @MeganI418.
Your Versa might register extra steps because of your arm movement. I recommend checking that you are wearing your tracker in the correct wrist by doing the following from your Fitbit app:
About your inquiry about the sensitivity, I suggest doing the following from a computer:
I hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.

The thing is vibrations alone in the car add LOTS OF steps, it's not about the hand movement.
I watched it happening yesterday, my hand was still and steps were being recording in a pace faster than running lol.
I get the solution to add Driving activity when you take a long trip to cancel the steps. But if you drive 15 minutes per time various times per day, you just can't do that.

Grab the Drivebit app it will automate the process of adding a drive exception to your Fitbit. Have been using it for a few days and it seems to work well

Last night, while my Versa was on charge and I was sleeping, it recorded over 33,000 steps. Charger was sitting flat on my night stand.

I’ve been having the same issues over the last couple of days. Love the watch, but this needs to be fixed asap. I’ve been keeping track of it the last hour and it’s given me a few thousand steps. It’s not on me. This is the second versa this week, both had same issues.

I'm on my 3rd Versa with the same issue. I was on the phone with support today. They told me its a firmware issue and they are working on a fix. My original one worked until the first firmware update. Problem is, fitbit has no way to roll back to a previous version of the firmware. So we are stuck till the figure this out.

Did you get a resolution to this? I am having the exact same issue. Woke up to find I had taken 43K steps in my sleep... Not complaining re: my challenges lol, but would like it accurate.

Nope... no resolution. And I AM complaining! Fitbit needs to step it up here. I understand they are working on it, but I paid for a device that said it would do certain things and it does not work as promised. I do not understand why I cannot return a defective device for a refund after I let them send me 3 replacements which put me past the return window...

Good luck! I've restarted multiple times. But my ghost steps always come back... I hope it works for you though.

I've noticed my Versa counts steps even when I'm actively logging exercise. For example, I'll log that I'm currently riding my bike but the steps will continue to increment. Very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had 4 Versas since I preordered my first one. Each and every one of them counted ghost steps. I finally got them to agree to let me return for a full refund.

I went into profile and sleep and there is no option to change sensitivity or wrist. Now what? I need to clear these steps. It's totally out of whack

Just had my Fitbit versa for 2 days and it’s grossly over calculating steps by thousands , very disappointed . Is there a way to fix this

I recently read that if you change your watch to your dominant hand, it decreases the sensitivity of the Fitbit. I just switched over and will see what happens...
