Hello @Eimz24Xx, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. If you have trouble connecting your watch to Wi-Fi, first make sure that your Wi-Fi network is working correctly and that your network type is compatible with your watch. Then move on to the troubleshooting steps if needed. To verify your Wi-Fi network is working correctly, connect another device, such as your phone or computer, to your network. If the device connects successfully, confirm your network type is compatible with your Fitbit watch by reviewing the supported network types in How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi? For best results, use your home or work Wi-Fi network.

After you verify the network is compatible, plug your watch into the charger and make sure it’s in range of your Wi-Fi network. For a stronger Wi-Fi connection, move your watch closer to your router. If you still can’t connect to Wi-Fi, complete the steps below based on your issue.

If you have trouble adding a Wi-Fi network, complete the steps below. If you have a hidden network, skip to the next section.

  1. Restart your watch by pressing and holding the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo.
  2. Go back to the Fitbit app and try again to add a Wi-Fi network.
  3. If you see other networks appear in the list of available networks, but not your preferred network, move your watch closer to your router.

If you still can't connect your watch to Wi-Fi, please try the following:

Remove your watch from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone (known as "unpairing").

  1. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > your device name > find an option to forget the device.
  2. Go back to the Fitbit app and try again to add a Wi-Fi network.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Marco,

live followed your suggestions re resetting the Versa, still no joy in connecting to the WiFi network, I’ve gone back to the store I bought it from and couldn’t connect to their WiFi network either.

Very frustrating as I replaced a dead Ionic with this Versa. The store suggested that I upgrade to the latest release of IOS for my iPhone 8, which I have now done, however this has had no effect.

Now going back to the store and getting a refund and will now willingly spend the extra on an Apple 4 watch. Given that a cost of the Ionic and the Versa have together cost about the same as the Apple for about 13 months of use ( at least the Ionic worked for that time until it died after swimming.
