My fitbit versa will not turn on and hasn’t for months. I tried charging it for hours but when i took it off the charger it would die within minutes. I tried looking on the app to sync but instead it says “searching” with the loading signal spinning constantly. Also on the app it has an X on the battery’s next to my versa so i'm thinking my battery is dead and i need to figure out how to charge or my watch is just not working. I’ve had my watch for over a year and I will be so sad if it’s broken! Someone help!

@kenziemonson welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on nor charge. I'm afraid that the battery can't be changed since it comes built in.
However, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch again for 2-3 hours and see if it gets back on track.
