Fitbit Versa not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa is dead.  It will not charge and it will not turn back on.  Less than a year old.  How do I return it for repair?  Starting to think these things are junk.  My blaze lasted a little over a year.

Thanks for your update @C_P.

To exhaust all the applicable troubleshooting steps to revive your Versa, please follow the next ones to perform a factory reset:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Let me know if the Versa responds or if you need further assistance.

1. Pushed power button multiple times. To see if it would respond.

2. Cleaned the charging port. Tried a different power source.

3. Cleaned the Versa.

4. Checked for a light on the bottom and there is nothing.

I'm having the same issue. My battery went dead on Saturday. I placed on charger. It did not charge.

I cleaned all connections. Tried different outlets. I ordered a new charger just in case.  New charger came in. Still nothing. Dead. I have had it for I you and a couple of weeks. Disappointed that I paid 175.00 for something that only lasted a year.

It is dead.  I have attempted all of the known trouble shooting fixes.
