Fitbit Versa overheating

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This past 2 weeks my Versa Watch has been randomly turning off and the battery dies quickly.  Tonight all of the sudden it started burning my arm.  I took it off real quick and it’s off again.  I just charged it yesterday 100%?  The number of issues I’ve had with this watch just keep growing !

Aw, bummer and just when I had it working fine, it goes kapluie!. I set my Versa to track my swim today and after the first lap I noticed it was not tracking. So I tried it again. This time I got the Fitbit logo and realized something was wrong. I finished my laps and when I got out of the pool I noticed that the watch was very hot so I knew something was seriously wrong. I took it off immediately and tried to do a restart with no success. When I got home I thought maybe I should try and charge it but it was apparently already dead. Did it have a heart attack? I called customer service and they told me to send it back to them. I've only had the watch since December too! That was a short lifespan. I hope they can figure out what is causing the overheating.
