Fitbit Versa randomly dying and not syncing with Bluetooth

So, I have had my Fitbit Versa for over a year, and over the last couple of months, I've been having some issues with it.

1. Randomly, the device refuses to sync with the Fitbit iOS app.  As a result of this, I was forced to perform a factory reset, but it still keeps screwing up. In fact, it gets so bad, that it ends up showing an incorrect time on it.

2. More recently, it has been dying inexplicably during the night.  When i connect it to the charger, it shows that there is over 60% charge on the fitbit.

3. there is a random streak of light down the right hand side of the screen that was not there before

What is happening, can anyone help? Do I need to get another unit, or is there a remedy that can fix it.

@said3446, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that our Fitbit Versa stopped syncing properly and the screen shows a random streak of light. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Regarding the screen issue, change the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
