Fitbit Versa showing red cross and data not cleared message

Red Cross  ,data not cleared sync and try again, have tried to cleat Red Cross but cannot

I am sorry to hear your Fitbit Versa is showing a red cross and a message about data not cleared. Thanks for trying to resolve this and I am here to help. It seems that your watch needs to be set up back to your account as a new device. I suggest doing the following steps:

 

  1. Remove your watch from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off/on your phone's Bluetooth. 
  3. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Choose your Versa model, tap on replace and follow the onscreen instructions.
