I had this same problem! I called Fitbit and they also couldn't figure it out and gave me 25% off a new device. However, I found a trick that worked immediately! Hold all of the Fitbit buttons down until it restarts. Then release the lower right button while still pushing the other two. You should feel a vibration. This will restart the Fitbit. This is different then the restart you get when holding the lower two or all three buttons down. After this I set-up my versa again on my phone and it was good as new!

I faced the same issue. Only realize this when I plug in the charging cable into my computer. Have tried to press the 3 buttons (even up to an hour) but of no use. Is there any online support for me to try?
