Fitbit Versa swimproof?

Fitbit Versa claims to be swim proof. We went swimming and it completely died. After about a week it finally dried out enough to charge but now the battery dies within hours of coming off the charger. How is this possible if something is made to swim in?

Hello @RachaelMyers, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

Thank you for sharing that you've experienced this problem with your Versa not turning on after using it to swim.

As you mentioned earlier, the Versa is in fact swim proof and you should not experience this when submerging it in the water, so I've gone ahead and sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance, so you should be getting a reply soon. Keep an eye on your inbox.

Let me know about the outcome.
