I have a google pixel 2 and my fitbit will not show the content of my text messages (it will notify me that I got a text message). I am using the texting app called textra.

@JLetizio  Have you set your phone settings so that Textra is allowed to display your text message on the Lock Screen?  This seems to be necessary to be able to view the text message on your Versa.  Obviously you have to set Textra as your texting default app to send the messages over to the Versa.  Also, within Textra go to Settings (three dots in the upper corner) then go to Customize Notifications and then to Define Notification Actions

Scroll down to the Android Heads-Up Buttons and set as follows:

Button 1 : Mark Read

Button 2 : Android InLine Reply

Button 3: Delete

Set the Textra Heads-Up Buttons all : Not Used

Should work now.
