Fitbit Versa will not turn on

My Fitbit Versa was working and it just randomly turned off and will not turn back on. I have the Fitbit charging but there is no sign of it turning back on. Anyone know what is going on? This is a little frustrating since I have had it for a week.

Weird thing. 

I just left my Fitbit on the table, waiting for answers on this thread. Every day I would try to do a factory reset, still wasn't turning on. Then about the third day....life! A screen appeared and said 0% power (even though before I shut it down to restart it had over 60%). 

Plugged it in and all is ok now.

Every time I want to shutdown my

versa, I cannot get it to start back up normally. Also, if I go under settings to shutdown my Vera (after it’s been charged fully) and try to turn it back on, it says “0%:battery:” with the battery symbol showing it is completely out of battery. 
Having to do this hard reset every single time the Versa frequently shuts down is not how I imagine the product should be operating...

Thanks for all the help, i just have one question.
If the Watch is off, how do you change the face.
I know you change it on the app and then it synq's with the watch, but if its off it wont synq....

Please help

Having the same issue with my versa as well.

 

This worked for mine as well!

 

In reply to: Try holding all 3 buttons down at the same time for about 15-30 seconds. That's what turned mine back on. Just hold em down till it turns back on. Hope you get it back!

Hi

 

Sorry, mine still did not start. All i did was shut down as made latest updates and was running slow.. So shut down and the did not restart, even put it to charge.. And still nothing.

I have a Versa

Hello

Give it a day or two. Then try it. It should come back on. When it does
turn on it will indicate that it has no power and you will need to recharge
it, even though you had it charging.

My versa 2 has just turned off and won’t come back on. There is power in the battery, nothing else. 
who do I contact to resolve this, I have only had my watch for Christmas and this has never happened before. 
please advise me

Best bet is to contact their support, which you can find on their site. Good luck to you. I hope they'll help to your satisfaction. I hope it's still under the warranty or that you purchased an extended warranty. Best of luck.

You might be covered under warranty. Contact Fitbit directly. If not, give
it a day or two and try again to turn the power back on.....trust me, it
will say it's drained even though you just charged it. It might come back
on, but briefly and will indicate a dead battery. Then put it back in the
charger.

I did an update and tried to restart because my notifications stop working.  I did a restart and now my fitbit won't turn on to change the clock face or do anything else.  I brought my fitbit in August of 2019.  My blaze lasted longer than this.  If there is a problem fitbit should honor all purchases within the last year and get their customers some help.  $100+ is a lot of money to be investing in something that doesn't last.

 

Please advise!

I've had a Fitbit clock face installed for over a year and changed it to a different one to see if that will help get a response and it does not.  My Versa is still giving me my text notifications and my get up and move notification, as well as tracking all my steps.  It just won't show the clock face or any screen functions on the watch.

My Versa is doing something similar and weird: it was working fine up to yesterday. Now it wouldn't reset the excerise count - I had 611 minutes in one day?! I tried to reset, it got all the way to the updating screen, then it had 5 white lines across the screen. Now it won't turn on, just a faded screen with lines. Nothing. Nada. I got this as a gift, not sure if still covered under warranty.

call fit bit and have it replaced. thats what they did to me. it took a year as I live in Asia and got it in Canada.  they still replaced it though. Good luck.

I’ve got the same problem. Thanks ve pressed and held the back button, and it give a little vibration but doesn’t turn on. The screen remains black the entire time. HELP!!
