Fitbit Versa won’t turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit has generally been working well beside the few times it doesn’t accurately count the floors I do at home. Unfortunately, yesterday it  stopped working. I tried pressing the left button but all that happened was that the screen glowed (no logo, time or anything displayed - just the backlight) and then it turned off(backlight went out). I thought that is was the battery at first, so I checked my app but it stated my battery was approx 80% and whilst I was walking to the charger, the app was registering the steps I took.
After placing it in the charging dock, no response from the charger and I checked the metal pins were aligned. I left it for a few hours, then came back to check on it and nothing. Now the app just states “looking for versa” and I can’t power it on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Aries21, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on and won't take a charge. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger.

In the meantime, please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

the only thing that does happen after a while is that the device feel quite warm to the touch.
