Fitbit app and mobile tracker

Hi. I am new to this forum but I have a question. When I use my Fitbit versa 3 and I sync my watch I see that the mobile tracker I have to physically sync which is ok however I notice my Fitbit will go into the “looking” mode forever. I have uninstalled my watch, uninstalled the app, logged out of the app and only then do I see that my watch will sync. Is it because I can’t use the mobile tracker and my Fitbit watch together to sync. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello @Hulalove and welcome to the Community.  Can you please clarify something?  Your title mentions mobile tracker.  Are you referring to MobileTrack, the feature that uses your phone's senors to measure steps?  Or something else?  If you are an Android phone user, and this is your question, then there is a Help article that says you can't use MobileTrack and a Fitbit device on an Android phone.

If this doesn't help at all, can you please explain your issue a different way?

HI

What I mean is I have the Fitbit app. I also downloaded Mobile Track from
the Fitbit app. It seems as tho when I use both to sync it does not work.
My Fitbit app/watch will not sync when using the mobile tracker. Has anyone
had that issue.

@Hulalove   If you use an Android phone, then that is the problem.  The Help article says that you can't use MobileTrack and a Fitbit on an Android phone at the same time.  I am an iPhone user and don't know why this is a problem with Android phones.

@Hulalove   I'm sorry, I don't have an answer for you.  I hope another user can help you.  I wear my Fitbit all the time and don't use MobileTrack.
