Hi, for the past 6 months my Versa worked wonderfully until a couple of days ago it just stopped running in the background. I have to keep opening Fitbit app to get it synced again but it goes off after a few minutes. Settings all okay. I reboot my phone, my Versa, deleted Fitbit app, reinstalled it, set my Versa as new device but nothing works. It no longer stays synced in the background like it used to. Anyone face the same issue before? What did you do to make it synced all day again? Thank you.

Vivo V9, android 8.1.0
No issues for 6 months until a couple of days ago. It only syncs whenever I open the app. It doesn't stay synced all day and refresh itself like it used to be 😢

Was there ever a solution to this? I’m having the same issue with my inspire hr and iPhone XR.
It synced when I first got it in August and stopped at some point.

You mentioned Google Pixel. 🤷:female_sign: Maybe this might help: You can allow a certain app to run in the background by going to Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > Special app access > Battery optimization. This will initially show you the apps which are Not Optimized - that is, the ones that can run in the background even while the phone is sleeping. Tap the blue bar at the top of the screen and switch the view to All apps, then scroll down to the app you'd like to exclude (Fitbit, in this case), tap it, set it to Don't optimize, and then tap Done.
