Fitbit app will not sync with watch

When trying to up date or sync my Fitbit the app tells me there is no internet connection.  Everything else on my phone works except that.  They will connect to the internet.  This has been happening off and on for months but it has gotten worse in the last few days.  I am becoming quite annoyed.  Can you help me?

Hopefully I can help. I’d first try turning your Bluetooth off then on again. If that fails to resolve your issue then I’d open my Bluetooth up and find your Versa 2 on the list of connected devices.
On an IOS device:

Next to the Versa 2 listed in Bluetooth you will see a circle with the letter “ i “ inside the circle.Tap that then tap forget this device.  (If your on an android device it might look like a gear wheel, tap the gear wheel then tap unpair) Now go back to the Fitbit App and try to sync the app by swiping down on the today page. You should receive a pop up asking to re-pair your Versa 2 to Bluetooth. Accept the re-pairing.
