Fitbit does not power up

When i put my fitbit on charging, it keeps showing the initial display for a long time but does not power ups. I have tried all hacks, restarts mentioned in different support pages but to no avail.

 

I will be glad if some one from fitbit community can help we with this issue. Also do we have an authorised fitbit repair center in Delhi, India?

Hi @SandeepGrover, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is not powering up, it shows shows the initial display. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Regarding your question, I'm afraid that we don't have a repair center. However, I would like to help you and provide some workarounds that have been helpful for this type of issues.

 

I'd just like to know what troubleshooting steps you have tried in order to avoid providing the same information.

 

In the meantime, try a factory reset. To do so, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try setting up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.
