I started to turn off my fitbit at night time as its uncomfortable to wear and the light at the back of the watch is really bright.
However, when I want to turn it on in the morning it seems that it never shut down properly and the watch is still showing the time from the night before when I shut it down.
And then I need to synchronize the watch with my phone to get the correct time on display..
Does anyone else have this problem?

Turning the watch off turns the whole watch off, including the time. So yes a sync will be needed to set the time.
If you take the watch off at night, once the watch stops seeing a heart beat, the LEDs will turn off.

Hi @SonjaFu - did you know if you take a watch off and place it face down while still on and no straps over it the lights won't come on and the battery will last longer.
The sensor on the back can detect things like straps and that will wake it and can make the lights come on.
As @Rich_Laue says a Shutdown on this model stops the time, but on some other models the time continues.
