Why doesn’t the Versa not count the floors walking down only walking up

I expect that is because the extra work is in going up stairs, not down.

But if you prefer including down stairs, just mentally consider every stair count doubled.

It does not have any effect on anything else.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
