pairing problems

Have a new Versa. Previously had a Blaze. Trying to set up the Versa and keep getting this email is already being used.

That sounds like you are trying to set up a new fitbit account for your versa. There's no need to do this. Just sign on to the app using the email and password you used for the Blaze. Then go into the account section of the app and select "set up a device". Select Versa and follow the prompts. This way you'll keep all your data, settings, badges etc.
