Fitbit interference with Myzone

Has anyone heard of an interference between the Fitbit and Myzone? My trainer mentioned that my Myzone might not be as accurate while wearing my Fitbit. Since they both track your heart rate the same way. Thoughts or info?

I'm not sure how my zone tracks your heart rate, but Fitbit uses a light source.

If myzone uses a light, it would have to be right next to the firbit to cause interference.

Thank you! Myzone uses electrical signals and sits right in your sternum. I didn't think that they would interfere, but decided to see what others thought.

The light beam from the Fitbit will not affect the Myzone
