Hi! Can you please help me sync Fitbit Versa with Strava? The two accounts are already connected but I can’t see today’s run on Strava app, although it is displayed on Fitbit app. What am I doing wrong?
When I went for my run I tracked it only with Versa, do I need to do something on Strava app? Thank you!

@DRodrigues Was the GPS connected? Only GPS activities sync to Strava. Take a look at these troubleshooting steps.

Hi @Marrrmaduke! Thank you for your answer! I believe that was the problem. I’m a Fitbit newbie and clearly still don’t know how to use it to track GPS activities. 😅
Other issue I have is that when I try to connect Strava app with Versa, menu Settings > Applications, Services, and Devices > Connect a new device to Strava, Fitbit is not listed... 😕 Is that a problem or if I track my run with Fitbit’s app it will automatically sync with Strava?

Hello @DRodrigues your in the app settings to connect a new device to Strava.
You want to connect your Fitbit account to Strava, not your fitbit tracker.
Let's go to the STRAVA support post.
Here are some more help links

Hi @Rich_Laue, thank you for your help!
I have clicked in all those links and followed the steps. The accounts are connected, the only thing that is “missing” is that Fitbit does not appear in the list of possible syncing apps on Strava’s configuration menu. Garmin, Tom Tom, Suunto, all these brands are displayed but not Fitbit.
Tomorrow I will go for another run and this time will track my run also with Fitbit’s app, not only with Versa. I will give feedback.

@DRodrigues when you go to the list of connected apps is Strava authorized?
Have you tried connecting through the website, as per my link above?

The Versa doesn't have GPS so it won't track on Strava. The marketing for the Versa is very misleading like most things with Fitbit

Yes, it is authorized.
From what I have already read, if I track my run with Fitbit app and Versa, it will sync automatically with Strava. Tomorrow will see. 😊

Versa doesn't have GPS so it won't sync activities with Strava. I found this out when I got my Versa and was trying to use it to record my cycling rides. Now I just run Strava on my phone and it works fine.

In this case you will need your phone and use the connected GPS Your Versa does have the ability to record your run as your user manual explains, with GPS.
No deceptiion here, you could also use the GPS available through the Fitbit app.

@DRodrigues then let's follow the instructions in the link I posted above.
Revoke access to Strava through the same connected apps page. You might have to wait up to 15 minutes, then through Strava connect them up. This will be what Strava will say.

@DRodrigues yes, it should sync to Strava provided connected GPS was running. If you encounter any issues, revoke the access on the Fitbit.com and reconnect the accounts from Strava. Reconnecting might take up to an hour. Please keep in mind only future activities will sync. The activities from before connecting both accounts will not.

@Marrrmaduke @Rich_Laue, thank you very much for your help! My Strava and Fitbit accounts are connected and syncing! The problem is that I must connect Versa with Fitbit’s app BEFORE I start the exercise. I arrived at the park where I usually run and there I opened the Fitbit app and started to track exercise, at the same time I started to track my run with Versa. The tracker was trying to connect to something (Fitbit app, I suppose) but wasn’t able to. When I arrived home and my phone and tracker connected to Wi-Fi, all the information was synced with Fitbit and Strava. I believe the problem is solved! 💪 😊

If your starting your run recording with the Fitbit app @DRodrigues you do not have to start the run recording on the tracker.
When starting the run recording from the wrist, the tracker will reach out to the phone to get a connection with the phones gos. This communication happens through the notification channel on Android phones. So I find it I'm not receiving notifications then I won't be able to use the connected GPS .

@DRodrigues I'm glad you got it running. Just a tip you do not need to track the same exercise twice - within the app and Versa. It's sufficient to simply start your run on your Versa. It should connect to GPS and trace the route automatically which will be displayed in the Fitbit mobile app. Try if you have stable GPS connection with Versa first because some users have been reporting issues. We can try to resolve them if you encounter them. Or, alternatively you can just track with your Fitbit mobile app. Which ever works better for you. Fitbit will combine all the data your map from Fitbit mobile app with your heartrate, calories etc from Versa. That's the beauty of Fitbit! 😊
