Hi there @NGriffiths. Welcome to Community Forums.

I appreciate you share your experience with the Community. I'd recommend you follow these steps to restart your device.

Also you can try to change your clock face, if this fixes the issue, you can change it back to the original clock face. If you are using a third-party clock face, please switch to a Fitbit clock face and try the troubleshooting again.

If the issue persists please contact our Support Team.

Hope this helps.

My versa 2 appeared the same thing approximately at the same time with yours.

I guess that during weekend ,the technique- group of Fitbit is trying to figure out the problem coming from the  newest version of  firmware ..

Why do I guess so?  The reason is that from the day new one is issued(17/09/2022),  several times I got this same trouble is on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Hi @LucioFitbit  . I am not a new user of fibit products. From the issued date of newest firmware(2022/09/17), I successfully did several times of setting fitbit, because of the error messages, such as losing watch-face or [ data not cleared , sync &try again.

However, this Sunday night (2022/10/16), fitbit logo appeared and I spent all day long (2022/.10/17), I still can not figure it out.

Do you have any idea for me?

Hi - I did have the same problem.

I started another thread as my Versa 2 was completely unresponsive and I thought it had died - however I have managed to restart it - but was now stuck with the Fitbit logo on the screen and nothing else.

My app said there was a Firmware update available and would not sync.

Good news however - I left it alone for a bit and suddenly the Firmware seems to have installed and the watch is now working.

My Versa 2 just started doing this yesterday and it has been unresponsive ever since. Won't charge, won't reset. Following some older threads I removed my device from my app and now I can't resync it. Please advise how to do a factory reset. Does the blinking logo mean that it's trying to install something? just very concerned it's going to be dead.

I put mine on charge over night and it came back on, the battery wasn’t low when it started showing the logo only however I can’t swipe the screen

I've only had that happen a few times, but try rebooting the watch (hold button down until it reboots and you see the Fitbit logo) or turn the watch off completely (through the settings screen on the watch in the "about" section) then reboot it. It would not hurt to charge it while shutdown.

My wife's Versa 2 had the logo screen loop. It eventually came on but then did it again. We got it to come back on and thought a factory reset would fix it. Disclaimer do NOT factory reset your watch as it won't power on. Customer support only gives you a coupon if its over a year old. It's the newest update that is causing it but they won't admit it or fix it or replace the watch they broke.
