I got my Fitbit veras for Xmas I got my Facebook notifications and other notifications coming through and calls coming through but no text messages everything in ternd on but still not getting my text messages can anyone help please

I'm using the Android Fitbit App and found the solution for SMS Text Messaging by performing the following steps:

 

1. Open the Fitbit App

2. Tap your profile icon in the top left corner to display the drop down menu...

3. Tap your Fitbit device entry under the "Devices" group...

4. Tap the "Notifications" entry under the "General" group...

5. Tap "Text Messages" entry...

6. Select your messaging application... I'm on Verizon and use "Message+"...  I'm on Verizon and my app was set to the default messaging app for the phone, but I use the Verizon "Message+" application... not sure what you use, but you will probably find it under this setting screen.
