Fitbit time/steps very off???

I've literally been sitting still for the last 15 minutes just watching YouTube

And i synced my fitbit bc I hadn't yet after work.

And it said I have over 1000 steps, 13 floors and I had to restart it 4 times before the time would read correctly (it was saying 1:10 am october 1st instead of 12:10 am october 1st)

Anyone else have this issue?

Are you somewhere that just switched off of daylight savings time?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My steps seem accurate but the time is way off.  This morning it still says the time I went to bed last night and yesterday date.  I have synced it several times.

Went to Disneyland with two friends. We all walked the same and same Fitbit. And are the same height.  Mine was 16,000..... My friends were 19,000 and 23,000...   How can that happen

Do you or them have it set on dominate/ not dominant hand?

Cause I know if it's on your dominant hand it takes more to get a step cause its counting in normal day hand movements
