I have a Fitbit versa 2 bought in around January which as worked relatively well up until this morning
it was fine when I went to sleep however when I woke up this morning the watch is showing a black screen
I can not see anything at all on the screen it’s all black - watch is showing it as charge, and as logged my sleep 🤷🏻:female_sign: It is also still vibrating
I have tried resetting holding the button on the left - it vibrates but the screen is still black
Any ideas?
I’ve been in contact with Fitbit on Twitter
they have taken me though the normal
reset procedures
and factory reset etc
screen as remained totally blank right through - can’t get it to work at all
I am getting the vibrations but that’s it
also tried charging it (even though I knew it was charged above 70%) still nothing
initially it had remained synced to my phone but now it’s not
just awaiting further instruction from Fitbit support - I’ve had it since January this is the first major problem I’ve had but I did expect it to last at least a year or two!!
Best AnswerHappened to me to, but support can't help. They offered to give me discount for new one. That's not going to help me right now. It shouldn't have quit .
Best AnswerMine is still in the one year warranty so i’m hoping they replace it - last I heard they have opened a case but could take longer than 7 days which is ridiculous i’m hoping it is much sooner than that
If they don’t replace it I will just do what I wish I had done in the first place and buy a apple iwatch
