I googled for an answer, @Meganne and found this - Fitbit wristbands are made of an elastomer material similar to many sports watches and do not contain latex. The Fitbit Force clasps and casing are made with a surgical-grade stainless steel, which is commonly used in watches, jewelry and other products in contact with the skin."
That said, you can search the Fitbit store or Amazon to find bands made of different materials such as, leather, a woven material, metal and more. I’m not allergic to the Versa band, but must confess I find the leather bands much more comfortable on my skin, especially in the hot weather we’ve been having.
