Fitbit versa no longer receiving texts

I have had my fitbit versa last year (December, 2018). It was faithfully receiving texts and I have had no issues syncing it. In the past few months however, it randomly stopped. It still will notify me when I have an incoming call, but no texts! I've tried updating it, and sync it often. Unsure why the change, and frustrated, as I LOVE my versa and don't want to get a new one for a little while.

Exact same issue for me! Receiving text notifications on my Versa was so convenient. I heard this issue started happening once updating the software which is what I think happened to me! Please help to recover this feature.

Most likely it is that the fitbit app on your unknown phone isn't sending notifications, or e app isn't able to see notifications to send. 

What is the phone types @lisa_verni and @Jay808?
